The central figure of the evening was, vocally and dramatically Nora Sourouzian, Frensh-Canadian with - Armenian roots, as Azucena. Also for her, it was a role debut. And she fully succeeded it. Everything was right – she managed to put a convincing, centred personality on stage. Vocally she managed this difficult role virtually without any problems – the technically secure conducted voice has an equal sound-colour without any register breaks from the chesty low notes until the top high notes. Nora Sourouzian received the biggest applause in the end, which was absolutely merited
